About the band
Formed from the ashes of the bands Blank Generation and The Colour Frontier, Tailspin emerged as an indie/rock band playing original material with a smattering of top covers. Reference points through the years have included The Who, Zeppelin, Bowie, Pixies, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and more recently The Killers and Kings of Leon.
Tailspin are a Windsor based band, making them ideally placed for venues across London, Middlesex and Berkshire. Past gigs include Bar OZ and Rising Sun in Reading, the Half Moon in Putney and Edward's bar in Hammersmith. Tailspin also have their own PA and lighting rig so they are not reliant on these being available at the venue.
The band has recorded and produced two original studio albums - Are You Ready Yet? and Riding The Big Wheel. Check out tracks on the site.
